Illustrations for The Jennifer Trust

I've recently finished work on the illustrations for a book called
'Smasheroo', about a child living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy.

Here are Poppy and Ajay...




And here is Poppy dressed-up for a party...


The book was commissioned byThe Jennifer Trust, a UK charity
dedicated to supporting people affected by SMA.

I'll post more of the illustrations on here
once the book has been published.

Stamp Designs

I've been illustrating stamp designs for a rubber stamp company
called Sugar Nellie for a while now. Here are a couple of the latest
designs - done during the recent snowy weather!
I've also just finished a batch of fairy designs for them too - I'll
post some of them here once they're on sale over at Sugar Nellie.

Highlights High Five - Jan '10 Cover

I just received my copies of the January 2010 issue of
Highlights High Five magazine, for which I did the cover artwork.
This is such a great magazine, always full of artwork by a wide
range of illustrators. It's a real shame we can't buy it in the UK!

South West Illustrators' Exhibition 2009

I am a member of South West Illustrators, and am taking part
in an exhibition at the Rostra & Rooksmoor Galleries in Bath, UK,
in conjunction with The Bath Festival of Children's Literature.
The exhibition runs from 19th - 30th September 2009

Art for Hearts

I've just finished this little watercolour called 'Bedtime'.
It's for a charity auction of artwork by children's illustrators,
and all proceeds will go towards funding research by the
transplant team at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The auction is called 'Art for Hearts',
and is being run by Ian Stacey -

One Summer, when my twins were little, I bought them
some sweet little denim sun hats. Then we went to a
shop to choose some ribbon to modify the hats.
Harriet chose red, Sophie chose yellow.
